Membership Type
Organisations
Organisation membership is offered to not-for-profit and non-government organisations engaged or with an interest in social, community, health services or social welfare.
Associate membership is offered to organisations falling outside the definition. Associate members receive the same benefits however are not eligible to vote or be appointed as a director of QCOSS.
Individuals
Individual membership is offered to people who work directly in/with the community service sector or are interested in progressing the vision of QCOSS.
Please note: Individuals cannot be a current elected member of parliament (State or Federal) or local government, or a current employee of QCOSS, or have held employment at QCOSS for the last 24 months.
Membership Category
Non-Government and Not-for-profit
Select this option where your organisation is:
- Not a Government owned entity/department
- Not for profit
- Operating in the social services space within Queensland
This membership type includes voting rights.
Government
Select this option where your organisation is:
- Government organisation
- Department
- Agency from any level of government (local, state or federal).
This membership type does not include voting rights.
For-Profit Businesses
Select this option where your organisation is a:
- For-profit business
- Sole trader
- Not in another category
This membership type does not include voting rights.
Individual
Select this option to enjoy all Supporter benefits, plus exclusive access to discounts and professional development opportunities. This option includes full voting rights.
Supporter
Select this option to stay connected with Queensland's social sector through research, events, and regular updates from QCOSS. This option does not include voting rights.
